Come to our first ever Craft Club - BYOS style! This is a free social event, where we bring our own* projects, and chit-chat while we craft!
Hello, hello - Britni here! I have seen & heard quite a few people seeking a crafting/social group to spend time with like-minded creatives, and meet new people! So I am teaming up with Divine Distillers & Inferno Restaurant to bring you just that. ALL ages, genders, races, and skill levels welcome! We are a LOVING and WELCOMING group of neighbors <3
What to expect:
Arrive at anytime during the 2-hour event window, and pull up a chair!
I will arrive a hair early to claim our reserved table, and lay out a spread of very basic art supplies. This is different from We Make Art's typical events, as there is no group project, nor any instruction.
Each and every attendee (including myself!) is responsible for bringing their own small-ish stash of supplies needed to work on their current crafting project.
Some examples of projects to bring can include but are not limited to:
Crochet
Embroidery
Jewelry making
Sketching
Painting
Scrapbooking
Journaling
Card making
and then some!
During this first session, I will be working on a Valetines Day card.
This will be our first time hosting an event like this, so we are expecting the flow to evolve with the groups interests & ideas!
Maybe we decide as a collective that we want to all work on a similar project the following time, maybe we decide we want to reach out to other parts of the community and create some sort of fundraiser.
The possibilities are endless, we hope you will be part of this new journey!
*This IS a free event, but showing thanks and support to our host Divine Distillers & Inferno Restaurant is grately encouraged- you can do this by ordering a meal, or a drink or two!
